ServerManager Modules
Desktop Administration
- Through the provided Desktop, administrators can monitor activity and even view, edit, and copy objects. Additional features in the ServerManager desktop provide for efficient management of OLAP objects across multiple servers.
Security Manager
- Security Manager instantly controls and manages security and users across multiple servers and applications. Copying, editing, and moving security is made easy through a GUI interface that allows drag and drop of security components. This utility can also export and import security for backup, restore, and server migration.
Log Analyzer
- The Log Analyzer provides the administrator better visibility to server and application activity. The Log Analyzer builds a multi-dimensional cube and populates it with valuable server and application loginformation. These statistics are available for analytics through any client tool that is currently used to retrieve database information.
Application Export/Import Wizard
- This wizard allows administrators to export and import all application and database objects. This feature can be used for backup, server migration or even version migration. The intuitive, step-by-step interface easily manages those otherwise time-consuming, error prone and difficult administrative tasks.
PortManager
- The PortManager gives the ability to control who has access to what ports and when. Ports may be assigned by group level or individual user. Each user or group can be assigned multiple restrictions. Restrictions can be assigned by date, day and time. For each restriction, a number of ports can be assigned, from 0 to the number of ports licensed.
ScriptManager
- Designed for OLAP Server administrators, this tool provides powerful control of routine OLAP processes, all through easy point-and-click navigation. A process builder aids the administrator in developing custom script files that can be created using a language of over 30 built-in commands.
Task Scheduler
- The Task Scheduler allows Log Analyzer, ScriptManager and security export tasks to be scheduled automatically.
